21 Months Old and Ready for Anything

Ready for and doing just about anything,
as long as his big brother does it first!
But are you ready to become a big brother too, oh little one?

In three and a half months your little brother will be
 born almost to the day (or week or so)
 you will be 2 years old.

This is a "I'll take care of it just don't you worry" kinda guy.

Except when it comes to brushing his teeth. Or meeting this guy...

We listen to his long stories of delight and seriousness talk even though we have no idea what he's saying.
He can swim naked in the plastic pool, on the Lovely Wooded Compound where it's private.

And where we take pictures of The Sillies in the woods.
And where we put very colorful outfits on children, outfits that don't match.
Because everything else is in the washer.

Closing up the summer place this weekend along with your cousins, who take watchful care of you, was just a delight. 

Now if we can just keep you from injuring yourself between now and 2017.
So here's your Daddy introducing his boys to the thrill of water sports.. which is exactly what you love!

What a great weekend..
The dock is now out, the boat has been hauled to dry ground and covered, these four older ones will be in school soon.
Rejoicing in the Lord's goodness and protection and love ..
