The first 16 year old grandchild.

Found, the perfect yellow car, ahhhh, this little honey bunch,
will be 16 in 18 days.
In just 18 days she'll be behind the wheel.. alone.
I'll be in my prayer corner..

In 18 days she'll be off and running in the car her daddy found for her,
the most perfect little yellow sporty highlighter. .

Guess what? Her's mom's first car was a just like this one! It was a
Cavalier too!

not LS
and without the sun roof
and not yellow, gray.

But still.. really very close to the very same.
In fact.. are you sure you're not your mom..
did she really grow up and have two children?
How did that happen?
Beside honestly young woman, you look exactly like the
person I gave birth to a few years back on a lovely day in September.
During hurricane season, which is how she got her name.
That daughter of mine.

But today, 18 days prior to getting her license, this honey bunch was taking a giant step,
it was necessary for her to get downtown to the big city where the traffic would be horrible and
using the expressway to get there.
They didn't make it.

At a gas station stop along the way a fine gentleman, a guardian angel perhaps,
stopped them from driving out of the drive to the expressway by pointing out they had a flat tire.

Which it how Sideline Grandpa ended up rescuing the damsels in distress..

Yes damsel, your rescuer has arrived!

It is indeed a sad sight,  ma'lady.

You might need to put on the spare.
I said "the spare" .. yeah.

Are you sure you're not your mother?

Wha'ta do wha'ta do?

One good thing about this gal she knows exactly where to have a flat..
 in her Sideline Grandpa's neighborhood!

YEAH!

Sideline Grandpa loaded up his air compressor and fixed it right up.

That was

EASY

I know right?

Love and hugs and kisses.. love you!
Sideline Grandma
