The good things of spring.

Spring didn't happen in March, summer didn't happen then either, we were just fooled by the 70 and 80 degree temps here in Michigan.
The daffodils should be blooming now, they're done, the Bradford Pear tree has also finished blooming. The whole month sure had us, and our plants, spinning our heads. But it was nice... nice, oh so nice.

So now it's spring time, the real one.
Tis pretty.. ah huh.. just look at the dogwood.

They're so pretty.
But, just to keep it real, the tree is acting weird, it only blooms on the bottom branch tiers,
 if you have any
clues as to why, or what can be done to encourage full bloom.. please tell me.

It's a sad deal,

Not a sad deal are these trillium's.

Masses of trillium's pop up on the banks of the ravine,
growing under the tree canopy.
These protected plants are quite a treasure.

Ground cover,
blooms only this time of year but looks lovely all summer.

Sun's going down.

Ready to bloom, the flowers are white.

The Kwansan Cherry tree is just spectacular this week..
especially against a deep blue sky and the lime green of the new leaves.
Nice.
God, you are a color lover!!

Like these brilliant colors of the spirea, the flowers will be purple.
then the leaves turn green.
Orange, lime green and purple.
What a combo.

Red Japanese Maple in foreground, purple barberries behind.

This path run diagonally through the woods.
It was a cow herding path at one time, it's been used for over a 100 years.
There are clues to this being a native American Indian route.

Happy spring.
Love to all, thanks for stopping to enjoy the scenes .. they are to be shared, don't you think?
Sideline Gr..m..
