Wrapping up fall before the snow falls in lower Michigan

Yummmmy.. nummmy... honey...
Little Smile Bundle will be a year old soon.
Isn't it beyond imaginable how fast a
baby's first year flies by?

Today I decided to wrap up the fall activities with some photos, let's tie it all up with a big bow
before the holiday season gets rolling.
Thanksgiving - New Years;  "The Cream Cheese Season".

Oh my heart, this is so precious. This sweetie is such a dear heart who loves people.. loves to dance and act and is a dear one. Oh, I said that already.
With her good friend, Hawk.
(Yes, his name is Hawk. He's not a bird, people, but they didn't name him. He's a bit nutty, that dog.)

We had a marvelous, glorious, warm and sunny,
sometimes hot, fall.

But not the night of this game... brrrrrrr....

Catcher's mask on this sweetie pie for Fall Ball!!
It was chilly!

This was a crazy hot day for football + flu which ='s  the shirt ending up like this.
Good night sister, do I have a hairy back!? eek..

And the Tigers, that was fun!

#22,,, ready to HIT somebody!

With Coach/Dad.
So proud of ya buddy.

Here's the 11 year old's team "The Devastators!!!".
They're so tough.
at the same time they are very cute.

Serious about the game.. about sports in general.
I'm just going to say it; this guy did one fantastic job at quarterback this year..
Way to go kiddo..

Please don't drop her please don't drop her please don't.

Also this fall.. we visited the Point Betsy Lighthouse on the shore of Lake Michigan..

Did you hear the giant sigh that just escaped from my gut?
She's such a grown up young lady going to the homecoming dance, the lovely gal in the black dress with the wonderful smile, that is. She came into our lives 15 years ago today. YEAH!

And then this;
Still a few more games to go for this point guard....
wearing these awesome blue shoes.

"They're boy's but I don't care", she said, confidently.

This is the Stone House Bread Cafe.
In the charming town of Leland, Michigan.
The sandwiches are made with homemade bread, the soups are homemade too.
When your order is written the gals clip the order paper
on a wire and fling it to the cook in back.
The owner of this restaurant was a political writer for
Detroit newspapers until he decided to bag it.
Boy oh boy was that good bread.

Momma gettin' the measurements for the Halloween costume..
Golfing knickers for little brother and big..

This was tons of fun!!

Today I found this clematis blossom on the creeping vine  in and among the leaves on the ground.

The view out almost every window in our house
is pretty much just like this..

We're ready... bring on the guys basketball!!!

And the snow...
maybe..
or...
not..

Sideline.
