Here are the green players from our fridge;
Romaine
Spinach
Cilantro
Celery
Green onion
Broccoli
Avocado
It was a beautiful sight.
And tasty too.
Oh the number of vitamins and minerals we consumed!
I chopped everything into small pieces
so they blended together nicely,
except the avocado which is just so pretty sliced.
Not that it mattered, it would be covered up in short order.
Here's the bed of the salad which is waiting to be
turning it into a Taco Salad.
it was so good.
We found it fun to play a game of Sequence while eating this salad.
Should you want to try a dressing that's a bit different here's a recipe;
three tablespoons 1000 island dressing
2 tablespoon of liquid from the dill pickle jar
1 tablespoon horseradish sauce
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
combine using a wire whisk to incorporate the mayo, or it'll be lumpy
(Good stuff and not bad drizzled on tortilla chips either,
or go ahead and dip the chips right in the bowl, that works too)
