It's the shed, man.

See the shed has been a topic of conversation and planning since the existance of the cottage (or codge is you're 3 and say that word real fast).
Really, should we have three gallons of gasoline stored  basement? eek. Perhaps not.
Nor did we want; dirty shovels, garden hoses, fertilizers, and plant containers hauled through the hallways.

After 8 years, we have a shed! Blessings on the Shed Man (Sideline G-pa) his overworked body and understanding ways in agreeing to my simple request. It was simple, I tell you.
"It just needs to have some type of cuteness factor", this was my one and only request.

And that it have a window.

That opened.

With a work bench beneath.

Also it should match the codge.

Somewhat.

The dimensions didn't matter a bit! So clearly I wasn't being picky.

We had pictures, we had plans, we had expectations.. ;

Finally, in the year 2011 the shed was under way.

In May Shed Man, in spite of having spent all of January and most of February recovering from broken ribs and internal bleeding due to a holiday tumble down a few steps.
With his muscles still not 100% healed,
donned his toolbelt.

And starting doing what he does, such as
looking at the straightness of boards.

Squaring up and leveling.
Note the lawn mower covered with a tarp back there..
it has a home now!
OTHER: check out the tomatoes and new roses in the garden.
Tiny little baby plants.

Maybe we needed some knee pads.

Window!

Awesome Shed Man!!!

 "Cuteness factor" coming right along.
He built those trusses.
I have no idea how he managed to get them onto the walls.

I don't just sit around,,, oh. no. no. no.
Held that one board right there

The reason an orthopedic surgeon will be seeing
Shed Man soon?
See above.
and while you're looking,, check out how the tomatoes have grown!

Nestling into the spot just perfectly.
The side window opens for
ventiliation.

And it matches the codge.
Just a few details will finish it up next year.

Thank you for the awesome shed!
.. and a special thanks to;
Advil 200...
Love, Sideline Grandma.....
