Winter didn't really happen .. here.. much..
could we just do a little run skip and jump about that first of all!!?
It's been a glorious winter, sunny with almost no ice and snow..
dance dance.. do a little dance!
We need a winter wrap up on the family though.
Let's start with this determined guy! The basketball player up there.
He's a young man who loves to tackle, but this is basketball we're talking about
and one doesn't tackle in basketball.
Unless one can get away with it.
This fellow, along with his dad, who coached his team,
won their last two games of the season
by eliminating the first place team in the final tournament...

TWICE
in one day!
Thank you Lord for letting the birthday celebrations fall between bouts with the flu.
And Happy Birthday to this young man who turned 12 at the beginning of March.
What a GREAT CAKE.. made from cupcakes that were placed in the shape of a football then frosted over. A few extra cupcakes were sporting green grass spikes.
Can you guess what makes this photo precious?
He's opening one of his birthday gifts,
which happens to be a Bible.
Is the preciousness because
there's a light hitting the top of his head?
(Where did that come from anyway?
He's a good guy but we're not claiming angel.)
It's that look, the one on his mom's face.
And the cupcakes,
this one lasted about 30 seconds - plate to mouth.
Speaking of birthdays, these three rockers are now 11 years old.
The two littlest guys stayed at our house for 4 days.
Stuff like this happened.
AND stuff like turning the living room into a jungle gym.
Mom, our GG, had a birthday too, her 95th.
And doesn't look it.
That reminds me, I must snack on spinach.
She did.
Now for the artists.
You girls are so clever.
And at times, extremely nutty.
We had a bit of purse sewing..
And some acting to perform.
Merry Christmas!
What a fun winter!
Kisses and hugs!!
Sideline Grandma..
