Christmas tree hero.

Our Christmas tree is stored in three falling apart boxes under some shelving in the basement.
For 25 years we've faithfully hauled, assembled, and fluffed out the branches on this
old fashioned artificial tree for the Christmas season.
To my hubby, you are my Christmas Tree Hero, thank you!

Once again he hauled those unwieldy boxes upstairs and
put the whole thing together.. piece by piece.
Limb by limb.
All 10 feet of it.

We do a bit of decorating on the top while it's still at eye level so I don't fall off the ladder
while trying to get the ornaments affixed to the top, somehow.
We've often thought about just tossing them up there until they get stuck.

This year we contemplated just stopping at this point leaving room to stack gifts beneath.

Putting this baby up is no easy, or quick, task.
How thankful I am to Christmas Tree Hero for
tackling this monster.
It was, in total, a two day project.
Always is.

Just two weeks til Christmas and it's time to really enjoy the season.
Sweet-ness!!!!

 Fun days ahead.
