Found ...

Reminiscing and reviewing things found in our lakeside garden.

Color

Found this rustic plant stand next to a trash dumpster
while walking with a friend.
Carried it down the street for about a mile.
As a good friend, she offered to help.

Speaking of found objects;
this old metal gardening
cart was sitting on top of the
community dumpster at the lake.

Cute huh?
Should'a seen how fast Sideline Grandma
can jump out of a pickup!

The little bugger is heavy.
Next year it's a planter (perhaps in red).

Sadly these favorites,
the tall blue delphiniums,
 were 'unfound' in the year 2011.
They just didn't show up.

Where did they go after 5 years of blooming
in this spot?
These are the mysteries of gardening.
Not a fan of mysteries.

"Found" in the garden are continual thoughts of how God works in a life;
seeds that fall dead in the ground and spring up into life.
And multiply.
The power, strength and beauty of pruning.
Getting the weeds out, by the roots.
Watering.
Preparation of the soil.
I find the Lord out there, in the garden.

 Also found are;
hummingbirds,
butterflies, bees,
grasshoppers,
toads,
and annoying Japanese Beetles
(they enjoyed munching the hibiscus ((above)) until
I zapped them with Seven's)

All God's creatures..

(even the Japanese Beetles,
and I'm not exactly sorry about zapping them)

I've found a grounding of the soul out there.

Thanks for visiting the garden.
