After years of receiving a Word of the Day from Merriam Webster there's finally one that fits the day perfectly!
Aug. 27, 2011's word is "Torpor". "a state of mental and motor inactivity with partial or total insensibility"
In other words it means sitting around doing nothing.

Due to a busy week and late summer lethargy we are enjoying a torpor day of watching Pioneer Woman on the Food Network, Little League and Tiger baseball, and Lions football.Gettin' educational around here isn't it?
